Bennington has always wrestled with the need to explain its education to students unprimed to understand a college without academic course requirements and majors. As part of the 2016 website redesign, I interviewed more than 30 students---across disciplines---about their studies. Working with the multimedia editor, we seamed these voices to create a portraits of academic disciplines as told by students.
