The Luce Scholars Program celebrated its 50th anniversary with a vision: to create a piece that not only honored its history but captured the ripple effects of five decades of cross-cultural leadership. In partnership with the Luce Foundation’s team, Life on the Luce was published. A deeply human, visually rich publication aimed to resonate —and celebrate— the impact of the program across generations. Over eight months, I interviewed more than 30 Luce Scholars—from Pulitzer Prize–winning journalists to White House policy advisors to legal activists and religious entrepreneurs. These conversations went deep and gave voice to the program’s prevailing wisdom and mission. The final publication became a centerpiece for the program’s anniversary celebration and was shared with future scholars and stakeholders around the world.
