Admissions Anthem Video + Campaign Messaging | Director & Writer

Tasked with articulating the college’s distinctive approach to the liberal arts ahead of the public announcement of several interdisciplinary programs, I was contracted to write and direct an admissions anthem video that could embody this vision, without yet being able to point to specific initiatives.

Collaborating with filmmaker Ross Ballinger, I led the development of a narrative rooted in the authentic voices of students and faculty. Through immersive interviews and purposeful visual storytelling, we created a piece that captured the spirit and lived reality of interdisciplinary work on campus, showcasing the college’s philosophy in action rather than description.

In tandem with the video, I rewrote and reorganized key admissions web pages, shaping a new narrative and content strategy that foregrounded this interdisciplinary ethos. I developed the campaign line: "You are more than one thing. So are we." This message became a rallying point for prospective student communications and has since been widely used across newsletters, digital campaigns, social media, and recruitment materials.
