Admissions Anthem Video + Campaign Messaging | Director & Writer | 2025

In advance of launching several new interdisciplinary programs, Kenyon College sought to articulate its distinctive approach to the liberal arts in a way that felt fresh, authentic, and future-facing. I was brought on to collaborate with Ross Ballinger and together we scripted/directed an admissions anthem video that would capture this spirit of Kenyon and its lesser known aspects.

Building a narrative around the real voices and lived experiences of students and faculty, through immersive interviews and purposeful visual storytelling, we created a film that made the college’s philosophy visible—showing rather than telling what interdisciplinary learning looks and feels like at Kenyon.

Alongside the video, I restructured key admissions web pages and developed a new content strategy that centered this ethos. Penning the campaign line: “You are more than one thing. So are we.” It served as the creative foundation for prospective student communications and adopted across digital campaigns, social media, newsletters, and print materials.
