Admitted Student Welcome Video | Creative Director & Script Editor

As the college’s Creative Director, I developed and directed this welcome video to be delivered alongside admission decisions—an emotionally resonant piece designed to give new students an immediate sense of the intellectual and creative community they were about to join. That year’s application asked: What question changed the way you think about the world? I reviewed hundreds of responses and crafted a script that brought forward the most textured, voice-rich, and diverse answers—highlighting not just a class, but a class of mind and spirit. Animated and edited by Keegan Ead and soundtracked with a student-composed song (shared via social and used with permission), the video offered a deeply human first impression of Bennington’s values and culture—welcoming students into the conversation from the moment they were admitted.
